Unoial Villa News...

Martin Laursen told the official site after the Bolton game: 'We have total confidence in our ability to come back in matches. We have done that a lot of times. That is one of the strengths of the team. We have no concerns when we concede a goal. We never give up and we fight until the very end.' Adding clean sheets are great 'But the important thing is we are an attacking threat. That is vital. If you don't score goals, you don't win games.'

Villa boss Martin O'Neill says it isn't just the brilliance of Ashley Young and Gabby Agbonlahor that dazzles him, it is the fact they perform consistently. He told the official site: 'Ashley and Gabby are so consistent but, more importantly, they are consistently brilliant.' Adding, 'Their performances this season have been incredible. They are two very young players improving and, pleasingly, looking to improve their game even more. They were mesmeric against Bolton - absolutely brilliant. They were really world-class.' Aston Villa's weekend press talk. Ashley Young linked to Real Madrid and Villa linked with Peter Crouch:Aston Villa Press Transfer Rumours

Martin O'Neill has played down the talk of Villa replacing Arsenal in the top four telling the Birmingham Mail that Liverpool, Arsenal, Manchester United and Chelsea have the experience and bigger squads. 'And that's all those four sides including Arsenal, who are supposed to be in a bit of a predicament at the moment, but I don't see it like that, absolutely not. All those four sides are capable of winning four on the trot or taking 13 points from 15. For us to do that is exceptionally hard work.'

Don't sell Young to Madrid! If he has to move, send him Chelsea's way! Keep him in our league though...

F*** OFF Zola, he isn't going anywhere for the forseeable future. Chelsea can't even win at home. Villa's next SIX games are live on either SKY, Setanta or terrestrial. Why would he want to move when Capello is watching us more than Fulham's second team!!

haha Villan444 - Wasn't saying that Chelsea would sign him (even though he is a fantastic player). Just said don't send him to Madrid. Read what I said again. "If he has to move..." You were a little bit hostile there mate - I actually quite like Villa...
