Celtic legend Henrik Larsson speaks out for the first time about the rumours linking him with a move back to the Premier League. 'It's amazing, I've read so many stories linking me with a move to Everton and a move to Aston Villa when I haven't spoken to either club or any other club in England. There is absolutely no truth in any of the stories linking me with a transfer to the Premiership.' Full article: Larsson Rubbishes Villa And Everton Links

Vital Villan: He may be in footballing terms somewhat of a geriatric, but Brad Friedel is still hoping to improve in goal and concede less. Speaking on the official site O'Neill says the player is showing no signs of 'winding down' because he still has tremendous drive, determination and enthusiasm. He also revealed that Friedel believes he could've done better in some games so far for us and even at his age he's determined to eradicate sloppy and silly errors during matches. 'Brad has been a terrific goalkeeper for a number of years. That was a significant reason for signing him. His performances have been fantastic for many years.' Martin O'Neill says Ashley Young is world class. 'Could you name me two dozen players in the world who would have scored the goal Ashley scored at Everton? I can't. I really can't...That was all in the last minute of a game in which Ashley had worked tirelessly. Just to have the energy to do it was remarkable. I think he is a world-class performer. It is an over-used phrase - and I don't use it too often - but he is an absolutely class player ... and he has far from reached his peak.'

Newcastle boss Joe Kinnear has said for the first time that former Liverpool and Real Madrid striker Michael Owen might leave in January. Teams who are thought to be interested include Aston Villa (hurrah!) and Chelsea. Full quotes: Michael Owen May Be Available In Jan?

Vital Villa asked 'Would Heskey In & Harewood out really be an upgrade?' 71% aren't keen on either option as they voted 'We need a striker who actually scores!' That left: Click Here

Thought for the day: Employee of the month is a good example of how somebody can be both a winner and a loser at the same time.
