Inter Milan Striker Linked To Villa

According to reports today Aston Villa, as well as Newcastle and Everton, are chasing Inter Milan striker David Suazo who is currently on loan at Benfica.

His dad is quoted as saying: 'It will be difficult for Benfica to compete financially with the English clubs.' Hmmm, a dad trying to get his son a move or a true link? Who knows!

Vital Villa member shortshadyuk said in the forum:

I'm so happy if this is the case, I recommended him because he's on loan a while back, its about time we looked at who is on the fringe of things at bigger clubs that could add to our club and he's a good quality player. I wouldn't mind us raiding Milan for a midfielder too!

He's Honduran and their talisman player. He has scored about a 1 in 3 ratio goals to games for his national side. (14 in 42)

He become famous for playing well for Cagliari which is a pretty small team in the Italian league, he is pretty damn fast, the main thing about his finishing is he tries to place a shot and has enough awareness to do that rather than just blast it from what i have seen, but he's competing against Adriano, Ibrahimovic who are two physically stronger, skillful players (Zlatan is), then you have Julio Cruz and Hernan Crespo so he wont get many chances now to get a spot back so it doesn't sound too outlandish for us to get him.

He's a good solid forward, no John Carew in terms of aerial threat but good on the deck.

Inter ye but is he any good? If so why's he getting rejected? Anyone know anything about him?
PTP
PTP hes a really good forward he played for Cagliari, in Series A and scored about a goal every 3 games for them, bare in mind they fought relegation most the time and top scorers in their league get about a goal every other game or just above and thats at top teams. Hes got quite a few people ahead of him in the pecking order at Inter: Zlatan Ibrahimovic, Adriano, Crespo, Julio Cruz all of which are very good forwards, he was in the team pre-mourinho, mourinho broguth back Adriano from a loan spell where he was trying to get back into the right frame of mind mentally and Suazo lost his spot... not many people could keep their spot with Adriano about to be fair
shortshadyuk
No disrespect to the fella, but a lot of those goals in that video he wouldn't manage scoring in the prem cos he wouldn't be given the time or space to do it.

Seem to remember De La ruz being called the Ecuadorian David Beckham. These South Americans from "smaller" countries always seem to be a bit better on the international scene than they are at club level, bit like Baros (yes I know he's Czech)
Stourbridge Villan
In the PL he would be suspended most of the time, for picking up too many yellow cards..... for undressing after every goal !
villa_de
Hes VERY fast, almost as fast as gabby, probably quicker than ash. good player. could do a lot worse

Wouldnt mind Mario Balotelli off them either, potentially going to be the 1st black player to be capped by Italy, has made full squad a few times (impressive at under 21 as the average age in Italy squad is 30!!) described as similar to Rooney circa 2004 but a good foot taller.
MOGVILLA
Hes only 18 though, watch this space.
