Villa Face Gillingham In FA Cup 3rd Round

Aston Villa will face Gillingham in the 3rd round of the FA Cup after they came back from 1-0 down to beat Stockport County last night at Edgeley Park.

The tie, which is being televised, will be played on Sunday 4 January 2009

Gutted for Stockport, I was looking forward to that trip but well done to league two side Gillingham, especially after fighting back against an in form County.

So a trip to Kent to the Priestfield Stadium awaits Villa in the New Year.

Bugger, I was hoping to go to Stockport. Who wants to go to Gillingham?

Compare Gillingham away to Stockport away for pubs and a generally good away day trip with a quite quick connections... Short straw time.
Gutted for us.
