Poll Results: What Do Villa Need Most?

Poll Results: What Do Villa Need Most?

Not sure this is rocket science to be totally honest, however we asked in our last poll, suggested by pksandell:

What do Villa need in Jan to push for a top four place?

The overwhelming answer was always going to be this, with 94% voting we needed a TOP striker.

The also rans:

Creative midfielder (4%)
Holding midfielder (1%)
Defenders (1%)

Just shows that we are moving forwards and that we do now have strength in depth because before we needed absolutely everything! Now it is down to the last few pieces of the jigsaw. Then we get Champions League qualification and it all starts over again as we push for the next level.

Our latest poll is asking for tonight's prediction and will be followed by the man of the match options.

Crouch....he's not the same as Carew at all, plus he's rarely injured. How about a punt for Kieran Richardson who i wanted last season and errrrr.....Crouch or a short term move for Larsson? Or even a two year deal for Zaki. Very powerful and fast guy. In fact, Zaki is top of my list. A long long shot would be Benni McCarthy who i rate very much....cue the howls of derision....;-)

Plus Geovanni. QUALITY. Podolski will not leave for us! Traust me. Champs League first, then dream team payers second. Sorry, it just has to be this way.

Spot on Col. No one is more aware of our deficiences than is Mart. He'll rectify our failings. In Mart we trust.

We've all got our ideas on the player(s) we should be going after, so I'll put my request in right here and now. Kevin Doyle from Reading, and Jermaine Beckford from Leeds United. Thankyou very much.
