Petrov Beats Barry To MotM v Fulham

Vital Villan, in the disguise of Two Points Dropped Sadly asked for the man of the match vote for the Fulham game.

Bafflingly (maybe only to me I guess!) Gareth Barry didn't win, he came second with 27% of the vote with Stiliyan Petrov, who I think had a quieter game than usual, won with 37%.

Ashley Young was next up with 17%

That left:

Friedel (8%)
Cuellar (3%)
Laursen (2%)
Agbonlahor (2%)
Milner (1%)
Davies (1%)
L. Young (1%)
Sidwell (1%)

Our previous poll asking for your predictions for the game resulted in just 12% correct with 'draw'. 74% said win and 14% predicted a loss.

Our new poll, suggested by pksandell asks what Villa need to buy to push for a top four finish.

I was with you on Barry Fear, thought he had a great game - on another day he could have had a couple of goals to his name.

Big Petrov fan, but I too would have gone with Gareth Barry on this one.

Yes, he should have tucked those opportunities away Mayo_12, no disputing that, but it didn't detract from his overall showing. Genuine quality.
