That left:

Tony Morley (6%)
Colin Gibson (1%)

Gareth Williams (1%)
Allan Evans (1%)
Ken McNaught (1%)

Had to use the piccie of Sid as I don't have one of Withe !
The Fear
Had to be Big Peter. Actually Sid, by his high standards, wasn't at the top of his game during the League Championship winning season. Withey though was different class. Inspirational, a leader, plus a superb target man and goalscorer. We were a different and better team when Withe was in the mix.

Surprising that Tony Morley only pulled in 6% of votes. The goals he set-up, let alone scored himself, should have seen him score higher me thinks.

Think Vital Villains see we have a need for a big goal scoring striker. With Young the requirement for a left sided winger is not as acute!!

loved Withe - still blink at his European Cup winner though, I'm convinced it'll go wide next time I watch it!
merlin
who the heck voted for Geddis ?
Villan57
I'd have voted for Morley, but I think we need a striker more than a winger right now. Thus, I went for Withe.

I've never forgotten Gary Shaw.....a career tragically cut short, but hell - what a talent....

Some dude who escaped from a local institution I believe '57. He's safely back in care now.
