Sidwell Voted Man Of The Match v Arsenal

Vital Villa asked for your man of the match vote for our 2-01 victory over Arsenal.

Steve Sidwell got 34% of the vote closely followed by Gabby Agbonlahor with 26%

Stiliyan Petrov was next with 14% and Curtis Davies with 10%

That left:

Friedel (6%)
A. Young (4%)
Laursen (2%)
Barry (2%)
Milner (1%)
L.Young (1%)
Cuellar (0%)

Our latest poll, suggested by Sheriff Kimbo, asks if you could have one player from the league winners of 1981 in the current team, who would it be?

Sidwell is going to be a big player for us and I can see him scoring a fair few goals for us because he just loves getting forward.

I went for Curtis Davies myself, I thought that he was outstanding. Not going to argue about Sidders though. He wasn't too far behind.

Being realistic, all eleven players fully deserved the plaudits that came their way. Every single player played his part, in what was an outstanding team performance.
