Arse Carew Boost

O'Neill revealed today that John Carew has returned to training and will be in the squad to face Arsenal.

The Hulk has been stuggling with hip and thigh problems of late and after failing a late fitness test he was forced to sit out our loss to Middlesbrough.

Speaking on the official site, O'Neill said:

'John returned to training this morning so we will see what sort of reaction there is to that.

'But he will travel with us to the Emirates tomorrow.'

O'Neill is also hopeful that Petrov and Luke Young, who will face late fitness tests, will be passed clear for the Arsenal match.

He won't start, we'll be playing 4-5-1 for the next 6 months now =p sooooo hope I'm wrong there...

Great news indeed. No matter what anyone thinks of Big JC, I think that few could deny that we are a much better all round team with him in the line-up.

Jeez! I hope you're very wrong Mayo_12, although nothing would really surprise me anymore. Our best chance of getting a result tomorrow is to have a go at them, put pressure on that keeper and defence of theirs. Man, I hope you're wrong.
