Football Association In Shocker

Football Association In Shocker

The Football Association confounded all fans today by revealing they will be doing sweet FA against Joey Barton for raising his hand to Gabby's face last night.

Amazing to think that there would've been any other outcome really.

Whilst Graham Poll was clear is was a sending off offence, at least I'm sure that's what he said, he could've recommended 3 yellow cards or if Barton played in red he should receive a medal for all I know, Steve known by most as Gordon Bennett said once seeing the event he didn't deem it a sending off offence so no action should be taken retrospectively.

Nice of him eh.

Raise your hand to another players face and make contact and it's not even a yellow card? I'll remember that argument from our esteemed role models in football when I 'flick' a passing pensioner in the street.

Wonder what would've happened if it would've been done by a Villa player to Barton?

Issue done and dusted anyway, move on nothing to see here, certainly not a pair of balls from the FA at any rate.

Barton's laughing all the way to the Bank isn't he, let alone the fact his 6 match ban is STILL suspended for his clash for Dabo.

And what makes it even worse is he was on the winning side last night. His ugly mug makes me ill. P.R.I.C.K

Ref says he wouldn't have sent him off for that offence, but surely it was worth at least a yellow. That would have meant that he would have been sent off in the second half for the studs up challenge on Luke Young. All credit to Gabby though. A lot of other Prem players would have gone down like they had been shot.

Barton ...once a thug always a thug.Thank God the rumour about that piece of excrement coming to Villa Park was a load of rubbish. No real surprise from the FA or from the worst ref in the premier league.

the *****er got away with throwing maloney to the ground last year too. ******** deserves to be thrown out of football and into jail, how many chances can 1 guy get? if any of us (normal folks) did half of what hes done we'd have got serious prison time. i can understand if someone gets into an occasional ruckus, but putting a cig out in someones eye? dis-feckin-gusting

I loved Gabby's face just before Barton slapped him.

i loved the way gabby literally picked him up and threw him to the floor (kung fu style) when they were having a tangle just before the hand to the face scandal.

Nothing this tin-pot organisation does or doesn't do, should ever surprise any one of us. Gutless!

Barton's time will come. He'll never change. Agree with happyvillan, no way would I personally ever want to see that piece of trash sporting the famous claret and blue here at Brummagem B6.
