Villa Hands Off Warning From Paul Ince

Blackburn boss Paul Ince has told the Telegraph that reported Villa target Roque Santa Cruz is going nowhere and that Blackburn won't consider offers unless the player says he wants to leave Ewood Park.

The self titled Guvnor said: 'Villa can't afford him.'

Adding, 'When it gets near to the transfer window, people start coming out with all these things. Roque signed a four-year deal, he came out and said he loves it at Blackburn. He wants to stay here and we want him to stay here. Until that changes, that's the only situation that matters.'

But it was reported in the Mirror yesterday, so it must be true????!

has ince got something in his eye?

Can't afford it? He's joking right? If MON wanted him Randy would stump up the cash I am sure. Do we view this as a less than veiled insult? Is he saying we are a small club with limited funds? Ah but its good to see he has lost none of his Man Ure arogance.

He doesn't look too upset about it either.

Boys u are dreaming....looking at this thread just reminds me of reading the Spurs thread.....a group of deluded men who honestly believe that they are on the verge of achieving the world when in actual fact uv achieved NOTHING in the past 22 years that iv been alive......do you think that it would be worth RSC leaving us for you??? After all history says that we fight for the same league spots anyway!!! 6 -10th!!! If he was gonna leave us then it would be for a bigger, more successful club....not you. Brad left us for a final pay day which i dont grudge but to be fair we added a million and bought Robinson who has been class AND he's just 25 yrs old. I really admire what MON has done at your but please dont get ideas above your station.....PS this rant was evoked by "Lerner" who wrote a loada crap on our page!!! ha ha
mani13963
mani13963 time will tell mate and I know you'll be the first to come on here and say well done when we crack the top 4,by the way how you lot doing in Europe....oops sorry forgot you ain't been there for a long time.
happyvillan
One day he will learn abut making these sort of comments in public,After the "friedel is going no where" and "we are not interested in robinson" comments he is going to look very silly if we buy santa cruz.
lerneravfc
I agree lads but i will publicly show my ass in the centre of Birmingham if you guys ever break the top four!!! The four who are there are worlds away from you as will be Man City come december when the transfer window opens. The best you can hope for is 6th and even that is debatable. My guess is we will prob finish at or around the same place as you (top 10) and will have spent half the money. As for Europe, go back to the books boys cos we absolutely thrash you in those stakes as well......Listen this was started by some moronic comments on our page, i'm just tryin to bring you back to earth delicately. You're a very good top half team....that's just what you are!!!
mani13963
mani, your lips move when you talk out of your ass, thats a trick in itself, but if you want my honest opinion, you will struggle making the top 10 this season. how do you explain that you trash us in the europe stakes too? wheres your european cup? you bought the prem back when the top 4 was man u and arsenal. historically, you cant touch us. rsc is only a good player with a decent winger, without bentley he's scored 1 goal, which tells me that if he wants to be considered a prem great, he needs to be playing with a decent winger and did you see young and milner tear it up last night? regarding man city, i think they'll struggle too, waving cash at top players is all well and good, but you need to be in the champions league to be able to attract the big guns. city will become thugs like you guys where under hughes. its the only way he knows how to manage.
bobbyfett
Bobbyfett I feel you never really watched us under Hughes with that comment and read the papers to see what kind of team were under Hughes. Granted you have won the European cup but when happyvillain says its a long time since we were in Europe is laughable considering this is our first season in three not to be in Europe and this is your first in how long? Seriously we had the same stuff with Spurs two seasons ago and look where they are now, this wont happen at Villa as your chairman is clearly screwed into the real world but don't talk some of the ***** that your fans have when you have as mani rightly puts it done ***** all. Villa are a stable top ten team and thats it.
durks de rover
bob on Durks, this lot think i'm gettin at them....i aint i just wanna give them a reality check because there's no difference between the two clubs as far as the Premier league is concerned!!! Where your gettin these ideas of top four i will never know!!!!
mani13963
Money talks, Ince knows that as well as any manager. Roque Santa Cruz will leave Ewood Park sooner rather than later, as sure as night follows day. He'll probably end up at The City of Manchester Stadium with his old boss Mark Hughes, dont think that we'll enter the equation at all.
glensider
No one thinks you're getting at us mani13963, dont flatter yourself on that score. You aint got nothing to 'get at us' about. The same goes for our friend durks de rover. Know your place my friends, know your place.
