FA Head Of Communications Linked With Villa

According to the Daily Mail today Villa are considering bringing in the FA head of communications Adrian Bevington.

The paper claim 'the future of Bevington has been a matter of speculation since chairman Lord Triesman unveiled a restructuring plan that included possibly appointing a spin doctor above him.'

Bevington joined the FA in November 1997 from Middlesbrough FC. He was appointed the FA's Director of Communications in March 2005.

So there you have it! Certainly a top role at a top club following the departure of our former media guy Phil Mepham so hopefully they'll get the right man. With our profile rising by the month, this role could be crucial in the clubs development.

Good to see that we're reportedly checking out the very best. As you say, its an important role that needs filling, and only a fully qualified individual should be considered.

Whose undertaking the role of CEO right now? We surely have someone ruling the roost behind the scenes? Whoever it is, the current encumbent seems to have his fingers on the pulse.
