Martin O'Neill has come out and totally denied the claims made by former Villa goalkeeper Thomas Sorensen.
As mentioned last week, Sorryson, But You Started It! , Stoke and Denmark shot stopper Sorensen started a war of words (again) saying that the Villa boss tried to ruin his career and blocked moves to Manchester City, Blackburn and Middlesbrough.
However MON has told the official site that the keeper is talking pants... well, not exactly, he puts it slightly more professionally..... come to think of it, maybe I should put in for the job of press relations, pants is an underused reaction in the press I think!!!
Anyway, back somewhat on topic, MON said: 'It's a complete fabrication. No-one from the clubs mentioned contacted me at all about Thomas Sorensen.'
So there you go, MON does a Bart Simpson and tells Sorryson to 'eat my shorts'.
I do so hate these little 'battles' in the press. Always happens when players are away on international duty as well, maybe they should concentrate on the football and let the fans do the talking!
