What is Capello playing at?
UpTheHolte
He doesn't fancy Young, same way he doesn't fancy Carrick. Capello likes his players to keep the ball and pass it around, Young likes to take people on, against T & T he lost the ball most of the time. I think that's had a lasting impression on capello.

You can't blame Capello - he has watched Young - and he watched him again on Sunday against Chelsea - the lad just has to deliver consistently against quality opposition, and he'll get his chance. I wouldn't argue against many of Capello's choices for the squad to be honest, other than perhaps Jenas, who was playing well, but has been dragged down to the same level as the rest of the Spurs team at the moment. I presume Hargreaves must have been injured, or else i'd pick him over Jenas every time.

Young is ... still only young, he has plenty of time and does need to get more consistency as Yatesy says. Be nice to see him start to gain experience in the full squad though.

Congratulations to Gareth Barry, but why no Ashley Young? I just cannot understand it.

Capello has to be fully aware of his (Youngs) talent though YatesyVillain, he must be getting regular feedback from his assistants, even if Ashley fails to really turn it on when Capello is in attendance.
