Man Of The Match For Villa v Baggies

Vital Villa asked for your man of the match v West Bromwich Albion away.

John Carew walked it, the vote not the game, with 49%

The resurgent Stiliyan Petrov got 23% of the vote.

That left:

Nigel Hokey-Cokey (7%)
Brad Friedel (5%)
Martin Laursen (4%)
Curtis Davies (3%)
Gareth Barry (3%)
Nicky Shorey (2%)
Gabriel Agbonlahor (2%)
Luke Young (1%)
Ashley Young (1%)

As the games are coming thick and fast and the win, lose, draw prediction polls always come up 80% or over for a Villa win, I thought I'd ask how far you think Villa can go in the Carling Cup this season instead.

Personally thought that Curtis Davies edged it, but I have no arguments against Big John Carew. There were a lot of good performances on the day.

Must say that I think that Luke Young is looking the part, improving by the game. He was just what we needed at the back there. Composure and experience, he's fitting in very well.
