Villa On The Fiddle

Nigel Kennedy is offering Villa season card holders FREE tickets to see him in concert at the Birmingham Symphony Hall on his current tour.

His latest work 'A Very Nice Album' is a very successful and rewarding departure from the classical style at which he excels and it delivers a wonderful blend of jazz, blues and improvisation.

But whatever 'A Very Nice Album' does deliver, it does not compare to seeing him live!

Aided by his Quintet, a superbly talented line up of Eastern European musicians, Kennedy plays a limited number of dates in the UK this September, including the Liverpool Philharmonic on Friday 19th, Brighton Dome on Saturday 20th, Birmingham's Symphony Hall on Sunday 21st and London's Shepherds Bush Empire on Tuesday 23rd.

Used to see him at away games quite regularly, but not so much nowadays, in fact not ever if I'm honest. i guess the guy is a tax exile nowadays, at least I know I would be if I had his money. Great gesture by an all-round nice guy. Superb musician too.
