Deanovilla Runs 10k For Cancer Research

Deanovilla posted this in the forum on 29/7/08 and with the day looming I thought I'd front page just in case anyone else fancied sponsoring this legal form of torture to further support his efforts.

On September the 7th I will be running 10k at Sutton Park to try and raise money for Cancer Research UK.

10k might not sound a lot to you but with my natural levels of fitness it's really gonna kill me. I managed to build myself up to 7k a few months ago, then stopped going the gym and am now back to square one. Went the gym yesterday and almost collapsed after 3.5k! Bugger.

Anyway I'm determined to do this and will be going the gym 4 times a week from now until the day of the run in order to make sure I'm ready.
