Oh My Lord, Lawro Tips Villa Win!
Oh my good lord, whatever next? Mark Lawrenson, a former Red, has tipped Villa to beat Liverpool this weekend.
NOOooooooooooooo! Is there a new world order or have I missed something? PLEASE don't get over confident in Villa, we do best when we are the underdogs, pile on the pressure and things never go so well!
Lawro told the BBC site he expected a 2-1 win to Villa and explained 'Liverpool have not played and they have won three games, it's amazing. It's a good sign, but it can't go on forever and somebody is going to turn them over. Steven Gerrard is also out. Villa have started pretty well, despite that defeat to Stoke last week, where they should have won. Without Gerrard in the Liverpool team it changes the complexion of things.'
COME ON VILLA.
Oh, and just for a giggle, a reminder of the great song, not so relevant now Gerrard is out I admit, but neverthelss, whether a Villan or a Red, yam gorra laff:

I wrote this on the transfer thread but a heap of Guests on Talksports Hawksbey and Jacobs all had to guess the scores for the weekend and everyone predicted Villa winning. Even Jim bloomin Bowen!

Let us remember that Liverpool are officially 'The World's Luckiest Team.' They will score a goal out of nothing in the last 10 seconds, we will have a penalty appeal turned down, they will score a free kick from 35 yards, a shot from our player will cross the line but the ref won't give the goal...they will fluke their way to a win.

I'm convinced that Lawro has come across a stash of that mind medicine that used to be so freely available late 60's into the 70's. Either that or I'm seriously worried about the guy. He seems to be turning into a closet Villan. Does he ever tip us to lose nowadays?

You aint too far wrong there PiperUK. Every club gets their share of luck, winning dubious penalties etc. etc., but Liverpool take that to the extreme.
