Man Of The Match v Stoke

Vital Villa asked for your man of the match votes for the Stoke defeat.

Not sure how or why as there seems to be very differing opinions of Petrov, but he ran away with the vote with 47%.

Next up with 30% was the ref Mark Halsey who ignored our clear penalty claim but then seconds later gave a penalty to Stoke for a similar incident.

The rest:

Friedel (6%)
A Young (6%)
Carew (6%)
Agbonlahor (1%)
Routledge (1%)
L Young (1%)
Davies (1%)
Barry (1%)
Shorey (0%)
Reo-Coker (0%)
Laursen (0%)

Halsey deserved to win it hands down
He was probably thinking about our incident and how he should have given it before seeing theirs and thinking "yup, just seen that and I'm definitely sure it's penalty this time." Isn't hindsight great? Idiot.
MOTM was MON his substitution of Shorey so that over his dead body reo-joker was brought off was brilliant. How shhitt has Joker got to be before he is banished to the reserves???? Mid table for us i'm affraid & Mr O'neill will be hanging onto his job by his finger nails, I will address the small squad as we took a gamble in January. He has don fuucckk all to address the squad size & we will struggle because of it.
I really rate petrov,Always have,Always will,On the ball his technical ability is top quality,His vision for a pass at times is sublime and he is an honest pro who gets his head down and works hard for the team,I think people expected him to score more goals which is why they have been dissapointed,I am glad he got man of the match.
If you saw the game Fear it was pretty obvious petrov was our man of the match. He was against man city too. He is far more consistant than Reo-Coker and is finally showing his potential!
Oh yeah Jinksy ,o`neill has signed 7 with more on the way,But okay he has done nothing to address the squad size.MON has always brought off the left back when he needs to change things so your idea that he did it to save reo-coker (who seems to be the latest internet scape goat for some) is just silly.Mid table?O`neill hanging on by his finger nails?Small squad?lol Yeah right,Go and dig out the anti-depressants mate, you need them.
Notice how everyone is ignoring Jinksy's opinion ...
Oops - posted the same time as lerner - I've got the same opinion too! :o)
And for our next act, lets have a big hand for Jinksy and his amazing talking *********
that was supposed to read b o llocks
Everyone has an opinion and Jinksy had a good and valid point RE: the subbing off of Shorey. Why did L.Young move over to left back when he is right footed. Think that the last point was a bit over the top though. Regardless you should be saving your animosity for the likes of Gerrard and Benitez gents.
How can Halsey be our Man of the Match? He did nothing for us all game, maybe he should be Stoke's MOTM.
Jinksy - RLC isw playing out of position. give the man a break. Young_jonah - its called sarcasm, read lerneravfc's post for a general idea ;-)
PLEASE can someone with a brain not stupid girls & kiddys with rose tinted specs tell me which part of my post was incorrect? 1. Our squad is exactly the same size as last season 6 out 6in FACT. 2. Reo-Joker is ccrapp every single week FACT. 3. We will finish mid table bacause of our small squad my opinion. 4. If we finish mid table i for 1 will not be happy & MON will be facing a back lash, hence the hanging on to his job bit. Why the personal attacks children???
bobbyfett - Joker plays crapp wherever he plays FACT.
i'm not starting a row here, just a thought, the players we've bought in are going to be of more use than the players who've left. ie - Guzan/sorensen sidwell/berger. i would say that olof is the only one who will genuinely be missed. the 6 in 6 out is correct, but we've also promoted members of the youth team, so we do have a bigger squad.
Whats all this FACT nonsense, its opinion, thats what a forum is for Jinksy. Yes the squad size is the same, but all the other things you say are your Opinion, putting FACT on the end of it doesnt suddenly make it so. Besides finishing 10th wouldnt be too bad if we won 2 of the 3 cups now would it?
All i have had a right telling off by Mr Fear for being a nasty piece of work & attacking whoever disagrees with me. PLEASE EXCEPT MY SINCERE APOLOGIES i can be a bit defensive at time and use the odd F word. I will make sure that i refrain from personal attacks 7 swaering on ant future posts. That is as long as my presence is still wanted. let me know what you all think. Love Jinksy
young_jonah - You're Correct FACT.
Jinksy do you go to games, travel away, maybe even a s/t holder, or are you one of our armchair moaners?
Petrov Man Of The Match? Absolutely, no arguments from me, and that was the general opinion from supporters leaving The Britannia last weekend also. A very good performance, continuing his recent vein of good form.
