Villa have announced the squad list (so far I hope!!) for the 2008-09 season. I'd expect a gap where number 6 is to appear shortly!

As if NRC or anybody else hasnt gone for the number 8 shirt, its one of the best numbers. And why has Curtis still got number 15, he surely is in the starting 11, he should have number 6!

Well MON does want another CB....Mertzsacker would get the shirt if he came :P Although Carlos Cuéllar from Rangers looks good. Barry WILL go, we will be short of a known LB and a RB we still need another CB i reckon, we need a known RM and maybe a goal Finisher, I would say LB is our main problem though, Gardner and Reo Coker can fill at RB no one can fill LB, We really could do with more options in defense i mean remember in 2003 when we had like Ozalan Fehmi Alpay, Olof Mellberg, Gareth Barry, Mark Delaney, Jonathan Bewers, Steve Staunton, Lloyd J. Samuel, Ronny Johnsen, Alan Wright, Rob Edwards, Ulises De La Cruz you know we had some bloody options in 2003 just 5 years ago.

Sidwell or Shaun should be number 8 and Curtis should be number 4. UNLESS MON IS LEAVING 2,8,12,21 AND 23 FOR NEW SIGNINGS. I CAN ONLY HOPE SO.

in 2003 we even had 8 bloody strikers, Bosko Balaban, Marcus Allback,Darius Vassell, Dion Dublin, Julian Joachim, Peter Crouch, Juan Pablo Angel, Michael Boulding.
