On the grounds that i trust MON to bring in quality/quantity then of course i answered survey with cup wins and champ lge place. However, looking at what we have currently mmmm maybe nothing and mid table!

should be a fascinating season, just impossible to assess at the moment, got to have more arrivals before you can really have a feel for it!

The easy part has been achieved, namely from 16th to 6th. Now comes the extremely difficult part, improving on sixth. Its going to take a magnificent effort to repeat last seasons final placing, particularly in view of the current depth/quality of our playing squad, so an interesting season lays ahead. Going to take a lot of cash being spent to get us a fifth place or higher finish, something we for whatever reason seem very loathe to do.

As for success in any of the cup competitions, it is all too dependant on the luck of the draw. Personally I dont feel that a cup run is a gauge to the overall success of your season, with regards to defining actual progress made by the club, but having said that, I certainly wouldn't say no to a decent domestic cup run, and an encouraging showing in europe.

agree glensider, will be a massive and very interesting season. Just hope we get the bodies in so that we can't be using the lack of numbers as an excuse or a stick to beat the manager with!
