Villa Fans Position Vacant Take Your Inter Seats!
Martin O'Neill is hoping that the fans will pack out Villa Park to cheer the lads into Europe. 'The crowd were fantastic last season. We broke 40,000 regularly which was immense. So I can't say they haven't played their part, they've done fantastically. Now it's up to us to give them something to cheer on in what is a very important game for us. I'm looking forward to it and would just love to get through.'
Seems season ticket sales are up around 7% on this time last season so the Villa faithful are certainly doing their bit in the revolution! I think current sales for the inter are over 30 000, can't think of anywhere better to be tomorrow, can you!?
The Villa boss told the official site: 'Needless to say, your support is absolutely vital to the well-being of the club and believe me, it is not something that we take for granted. For most of our home games last year, Villa Park was absolutely rocking. That is something the players appreciated greatly and they are as equally determined to give you something to cheer in the coming season.'

I was expecting around 25,000 or so to be in attendance, now you surprise me by saying that in excess of 30,000 tickets have been sold. Thats pretty impressive for a game such as this, and bodes well for attendances throughout the upcoming campaign.
