Three Villa Fixture Changes For Sultana

Hot on the heels of Sky fixture changes, Setanta have grabbed 3 Villa games.

The September away game to Tottenham is now a Monday night with a 8pm kick off.

November 3rd see's us away to Newcastle, again an 8pm kick off and as usual, no regard to the away travelling supporters.

Then we have the home tie against Manchester United at the 5:30pm kick off on the Saturday in November (I'm having to be careful not to mention too many dates so Dataco don't send us warnings of fines, as mad as it seems we aren't meant to give the football matches free advertising by announcing fixtures, go figure!)

That truly is madness - if word doesn't get round then some people will miss the fixtures!
The Usual Suspect
As a hopeful for a season ticket this year I am glad that it is mostly away games being picked up... is it just me or are they televising all the games they did last year.

Does anyone know when the fixtures for the games at christmas will be announced. Travelling from australia and im hoping to get the west ham game at upton park on the 20th dec in!! But don't wanna miss out on it with the change of fixtures!

You should surely be o.k. with that game peterbelladoyle. With Boxing Day fixtures, clubs aren't going to want their pre-Christmas game delayed in any way. I say surely, but when the television companies are involved, I guess you can never say for sure. Keep your fingers crossed.

peterbelladoyle, thinking about it, your main problem (unless you have already made plans) is getting yourself a match ticket. We've been taking a healthy following to West Ham in recent seasons, and I would imagine that that will be the case this time around too.
