Sidwell Signing Confirmed
Steve Sidwell has officially signed for Villa and told the official site: 'I am over the moon!'
Well, over spaghetti junction anyway (then turn right, don't ever make the mistake of going left!
The club have confirmed that the 25-year-old former Reading and Chelsea man has passed his medical and put pen to paper.
The Ginger Ninja told AVTV Online,
'I am absolutely delighted to join. I am over the moon. It's taken a while but now it's done I am excited and looking forward to meeting my new team-mates and getting on the pitch and playing football.
'There's been a lot of speculation and rumour about the deal and it has played on my mind a little but I've been professional and kept my head down.
'I am here now and can't wait to put a Villa shirt on and play for the fans. For me personally, it's about getting back and playing. I have had a year of not playing as much as I would have liked so to get out on the pitch is the first aim.'

Personally, Sid could have purple hair with light pink spots as long as he plays for the Villa. (Well, maybe that would be a touch girly - how about blue hair with claret spots?) :o)

Atleast he doesnt have Ljunbergs hair from back in the old days. I do like ginger ninja though! I think he'll be a fantastic signing and I think Barry should be sweating over that prized England spot.
