Paul Birch Fundraiser

The Aston Villa Old Stars will be holding charity match against a Sutton United FC XI to raise funds for Birchy's battle against cancer.

The Old Stars will be playing at Sutton's Hollyfield Road ground on Sunday 27 July. The match will kick off at 2.30pm.

This is in additional to the Villa Former Players' Association who are hosting a Golf Day to also raise funds.

Tickets will most likely be available on the day, and not on a pre booked basis as is usual.

very nice touch, wish I was local because I would definitely be there for Birchy. I wish all the luck and all the best in his battle!

Yes, not the most naturally gifted of footballers was AKA, but a true 100% guy, week in, week out. Good Luck Birchy boy.

Shame we couldn't replace Barry's testimonial with a benefit for Birchy, that would be worth going to.
