Unoial Villa News...
Arsenal full back Justin Hoyte was linked last week to Villa. Here is an Arsenal fans opinion on the player: Click Here
Blimey, this is strange. Following the departure of Richard FitzGerald as CEO, the COO of Aston Villa has now also departed. The club have released a very short statement saying Michael Cunnah has left to 'seek new challenges' and the club go on to thank him and wish him good luck for the future.
Villa play Lincoln City at the Sincil Bank on July 15 (ko 7.45pm) Ticket news and prices will be announced at a later date.
Reading on Saturday August 2 (ko 3pm) at the Madejski Stadium.
We will no doubt also face Walsall and there is talk of a home game v Porto.
One for the ladies (or pink football fans!) as Nigel Hokey Cokey, David James and Shaun Wright-Phillips take their kit off for charity. Full details: Click Here
Villa have asked fans who are interested in being one of the lucky 26 000 season ticket holders to register their interest to avoid missing out. Villa have said: 'Fans need to be aware we now have a waiting list because of increasing demand for the forthcoming campaign.' Villa are 100-1 to win the Premier League. I'm 100-1 to win Miss World. A snip here and there and I might just pull it off. Or least something is usually pulled off when Miss World is about. Do I need to tell myself off for that? What a naughty boy. Full odds: Click Here
Manchester City defender Richard Dunne and Danish youngster Michael Lumb have both been linked to Villa. Which is nice..! Full rumour: Click Here
Our last poll asked: Where you happy with last season? Seems a massive majority (86%) were very happy as they voted yes, massive strides forward. That left 12% voting yes but could have been better and just 1% each for 'average, cup runs ruined it' and 'no, I expected more'.
Martin O'Neill is looking at different options for next season explaining on the official site: 'Teams do get people behind the ball. We saw that with Sunderland and other teams at Villa Park. You have to have another dimension to your game, which at this minute is something that we would have to work on greatly. The ability to break teams down at home who do not give you any space behind.'
Our latest poll asks, oh bloody hell, just glance your eyes over, you'll see what it asks, do I have to do all the work around here? It isn't as if I've not got enough to do looking after my hair!! :o)

Gabby Agbonlahor's might have been given a bit more of a chance for a senior England cap as Michael Owen has had to pull out of the England squad for our friendlies v USA and Trinidad & Tobago.
Zat Knight says Villa will be under more pressure next season after our impressive showing last time around. 'Next season is really going to be a massive season. We've had a good season and everyone's going to have their eyes on us. If we can repeat and do better than this season then it will be a good year for us. We were ready for a break after a good season. Hopefully we can come back stronger than ever next season. We know what to do for next season and we know what we need to add to.'
Thought for the day: 'They show you how detergents take out bloodstains. I think if you've got a T-shirt with bloodstains all over it, maybe your laundry isn't your biggest problem!'
