Villa 100-1 To Win Premier League!

Bookies William Hill have set the odds for the new season for who will win the title!

Aston Villa currently stand at 100/1.

The bookies obviously don't realise the pattern of 16th - 11th - 6th means the only thing Villa can do next season is WIN the League!

Others:

Manchester United - 11/10
Chelsea - 9/4
Arsenal - 7/2
Liverpool - 13/2
Tottenham - 66/1
Newcastle - 200/1
Manchester City - 250/1

Not quite sure how Spurs, after such an awful season, are above us in the odds but hey ho, who cares!

And the rest:

Portsmouth - 200/1
Everton - 200/1
Blackburn - 400/1
West Ham - 750/1
Sunderland - 1000/1
Middlesbrough - 1000/1
Wigan - 1500/1
West Brom - 1500/1
Fulham - 1500/1
Bolton - 1500/1
Stoke - 2500/1

I don't usually have a flutter, but that has got to be worth a punt at those odds.

The only time I've been into a bookies in my life was to put a tenner on Villa to win the league after we won the Coca Cola Cup in 94. I think we were 100-1 then. As I recall we nearly got relegated that season. I vowed then never to bet on The Villa again. Surely everyone realises these odds are meant to temt fools to part with their hard earned cash. Obviously we will win the Premier league!! That will be enough for me. I don't need financial reward to boot. ;)

Its funny that Man City and Tottenham, who had poor seasons are rated higher than Everton!! I may put some money on the toffees!!!

You can get 150-1 at most online bookies. Theres no value in it though. Go for the handicap league instead.

Bazzah, it that what are Everton or where are Everton, because if its the latter I agree, I will have some money on them their odds must be like 300-1!!!

to be honest it might as well be 1,000,000 to 1. Any of the fringe teams have to have an amazing sesaon to finish 4th

Liverpool at 6.5, they may be top 4 but they will never finish above the top 2 (even with Barry.) In fact I can't see anyone finishing above them for the next few years.

if Hleb leaves Arsenal, Fabregas said he would consider his future as well. There could be a slip?

If they cut the odds on Villa to 50-1 it means MON has done the business in the transfer market

I'd save your tenner IanSymes. Bookies aint mugs, they're seldom wrong. I tell myself that every Saturday evening and vow never to hand them my hard earned readies ever again.
