Gabby Is Confused

Gabby Is Confused

Apparently Gabby is confused as to why he has been picked for the U21 game and the senior England Squad.

Stuart Pearce has selected the striker for tonights friendly against Wales, and Fabio Capello has him in the squad that will face the USA on May 28 and then Trinidad and Tobago four days later.

Yes it's thoroughly confusing isn't it.

Play for the U21's tonight and then almost a full fortnight later, he may get a full squad cap.

Stuff like this always confuses me!

Speaking to the Evening Mail, the confused striker said:

'I don't really understand it. But as I have been picked for that squad I will just go there and do a job.'

Please tell me Gabby does't think he's a full England striker yet????

Speaking about the full squad and the calibre of players he is up against he said:

'You never know what's going to happen or how people think.

'You only have to look at Jermaine Defoe - he scored six goals in six games and and he didn't even get into the squad against Switzerland.

'And as I'm put into the Under-21s for a game, I have just got to accept it, do a job and wait for my chance. It's Wales and hopefully I will get a few chances to score.'

There must be a better photo of gabby for this article. He looks confused in most of them anyway.

Oh god he thinks he's landed! Sell him now and get some money before he implodes and becomes worthless.

I really think Gabby has a much more grandious sense of himself than what he's worth currently... he'll get there eventually but is still far a starter for England.

He's doing just fine is our Gab. A season of further development and improvement behind him, he's a much improved all-round player than the guy who started against Liverpool last August. Ready for a full England cap? No, I dont think so, not just yet, but his time will come.
