Might it be the 5-1 win over B'ham City something I haven't witnessed before in my 40 seasons!

Although the 2-0 against Chelsea was crucial to the season as well.
The Fear
Still got the picture of Deadly shaking hands with Roman after the second went in (whilst smugly grinning) as a screen saver.

The Fear "Although the 2-0 against Chelsea was crucial to the season as well."ha ha i lol @ your jest sir hahahahaha.... there can be no other than the 5 -1 result Mr Fear :-) I'm still living on the joy that has brought me.
Mutt_Man
Agreed villan444, that was a classic moment, will long be remembered. Pat on the back to Doug for that one!
The Fear
difficult to see beyond the 5-1 really isn't it Mutt!
The Fear
444 spot on Uncle Herb offering the Russian his hand as he left before the game finished.
col8
what happened to the 6-0 at derby?
Its All Over FC
For me it has to be the Chelsea 2-0 as it set the tone for the season, the atmosphere in the ground was immense and it gave the team some belief. Don't get me wrong, the 5-1 was superb but comparing the opposition it is the Chelsea game all the way.

When was the last time we had this many options for game of the season? And you could easily add Derby away, Bolton home, Blackburn away and Middlesbrough away to this list.
IanSymes
For pure entertainment I loved (and hated) the Everton away game.
Villan Of The North
Surprised not to see Blackburn 0, Villa 4 up here.
VillaYamYam
I thought for a full all-round team performance, the 5-1 win over Blues was possibly the best I've seen Villa play in over ten years. However, bearing in mind the standard of the opposition, the 2-0 win over Chelsea has to win my vote, unless I can vote for two?
godzvilla
got to be 5-1 against small heath got up early to-day got my jobs done and thought what shall i do now to amuse my self, after failing to wake the wife up the next best thing was to watch us nailing them again god could watch it over and over again, lol
super lionel martin
The Boxing Day effort at Stamford Bridge. A superb team effort, with some outstanding individual performances. When you consider the quality of the opposition, it has to be right up there.
