Gabby Awards Night Success

Gabby Agbonlahor was a surprise double winner in last nights End of Season Awards event.

Gabby walked away with two awards, the Players' and Supporters' Young Player of the Year.

Barry was the Players' Player of the Year and Laursen walked away with Supporters' Player of the Year.

It was no surprise either to see Stiliyan Petrov grab Goal of the Season with his stunner against Derby.

Gordon Cowans was rewarded with a gong for Former Players' Player of the Year.

AVTV will be showing highlights of the event at some point.

I am quite surprised the players did not vote for Ashley Young.

Thats shocking, i think GB got the players player as they wanna keep him here, bar that Laursen or Ashely should have won the award As for Gabby beating Ashley to the young player award... how old is Ashley? was that the reason?

Young is 87 next week.

By the way, Ashley Young has just won the FA Premier League Player Of The Month award.

Gabby's had a good season, continued his progression and development. He's had his critics too, which considering his young age, and the fact that he's still learning his trade, has been somewhat unfair. Good luck to the lad says I.

Was a bit of a surprise though!!!!

Ashley Young wasn`t in the "young" players ballot was he? So it shouldn`t of been that big a surprise. Well done Gabby, hope you step up another level next season.
