Who Is Your Villa Player Of The Season?

Vital Villa's end of season awards are gathering pace... (!) ... and you now have the opportunity to vote for your player of the season. The awards committee (me, myself and I) have narrowed it down after extensive debate in the forum, to:

Gareth Barry
Ashley Young
Gabriel Agbonlahor
Martin Laursen
John Carew
Nigel Hokey-Cokey
Olof Mellberg
Wilfred Bouma

So what do you think? Who has dazzled you this year?

Ashley Young has done so well that I'm starting to worry that we might lose him. He would be an absolutely brilliant signing for Arsenal, so I'm glad he's English, so Wenger won't buy him

Erm - I suspect people may want to see who stays and who goes before voting lol! :o)

Laursen shud win hands down.

Notice how much better Young plays on the left (beside Barry) than he does on the right (without Barry)? Barry makes everyone around him better! He is by far our Player of the Year!

Young, Agonlahor and Laursen have got a lot of praise this season for good reasons to, but Bouma and Hokey-Cokey have just gone about their work quietly (well maybe not in Nigel's case), honestly and just have given their all for Villa, if ether of those win it would be well deserved.

Lausen would have won hands down a few months ago now we all take his perfomances for granted , same with Barry we only notice when he is poor like against Wigan? Ashley Young blows hot and cold not consistent enough to be player of the season but still a very good player! must ditch those puffy gloves and now those yellow boots!

For me its Laursen, people were all on his back earlier this season for being injury prone and he came back to not only scores goals, but do a fantastic job at the back attacking the long balls in early hence making me worry less about the ball buoncing past the slow defence for someone to run onto Ashley comes a close second as most the attacking options came through him but im a defender and im sticking with Laursen

At least we have a choice this year - there's not just one player a standout winner.
