Congratulations to the Villa Acadamy as the Villa Under 18's beat Manchester City U18s 2-0 to win the FA Premier Academy League crown.

James Collins and Chris Herd scored.

Impressive result. The Citeh youngsters showed in beating Chelsea in the F.A. Youth Cup Final that they are a talented bunch, clearly not as talented though as our kids. Way To Go the Claret and Blues!!

No, unfortunately not Col8. My youngest did, so I await my first hand report from her. Hopefully the reserves will do the business at Anfield on Wednesday night. That'll be quite a double.

Nice to win something, I wonder is Martin O'Neill will give any of the youngsters a chance next season with the new 7 people on the bench rule.
