More Villa Nonsense, Sorry I Meant Rumours

Following hot on the heals of some made up (I think!) reports on Gareth Barry ( Click Here ) here are the rest of today's transfer rumours:

Skysports have reported that Porto will take no less than 20million euros for right-back Jose Bosingwa linked to Villa, Liverpool and Manchester United.

They quote a Porto spokesman: 'The value of Bosingwa in a deal is at least 20 million euros and Porto will not even study any offer inferior to this,' and have repeated President Pinto da Costa quotes in the Portuguese press: 'We do not want to sell. But if a good offer arrives then it is normal that we would look at the subject.'

Bosinga has already said he would like to look at a possible move to a big club.

Rumour rating? If Man Utd want him, they'll get him. If not, who knows, if he fancies the Premiership, we are an awakening giant but would need at least UEFA football to offer him.

According to The Sun, both Aston Villa and West Ham are looking at £5m-rated Boro midfielder Gary O'Neil. They claim he wants to leave Middlesbrough after just 10 months. The 24-year-old hasn't settled since moving from Portsmouth. Apparently it's grim up t'north!

Rumor rating? It is in the Sun, it must be true.

I reckon I should make one up again as well, I've got as much chance of getting it right as anyone. Apparently Manchester United midfielder Cristiano Ronaldo is bored at Old Trafford and favours playing in claret and blue next season. This hot on the heals that Thierry Henry is on his way from Barcelona for a knock down two pints of lager and a packet of crisps is bound to excite and thrill the Villa faithful. Honestly, I have both links of good authority, my neighbours cat told me in a dream last night.
