Get Down To Villa Park For Under 18 Final

Academy coach Tony McAndrew hopes the fans will turn up for a second time this coming weekend when the Villa youth face Manchester City in the Premier League U18 Play off Final.

He said on avfc.co.uk 'We end the season with another big game and it will be nice to see how the players handle the pressure at Villa Park. Hopefully we'll get a few fans here backing the team and we can end the season on a high. This will be another tough game but hopefully we can play to our potential. It does make a difference playing in front of a crowd and it can be another big part in the development of young players. The lads have done well all season to get to this final and, though we always say results are not the be all and end all at this stage in their development, they're understandably keen to finish on a high. It would be great to finish off the job.'
