Lawro Loves Villa And Tips Us To Win Again!

Lawro Loves Villa And Tips Us To Win Again!

Hopefully Murph will be along soon to do our Aston Villa v Wigan match preview.

In the meantime, our latest poll asks you for your win, lose, draw predictions and BBC pundit Mark Lawrenson has once again tipped us to win, this time 2-0.

He said on the BBC site: 'Steve Bruce has done a great job at Wigan, when he took over there was an air of desperation about them but he has now made them very difficult to beat and he has a platform on which to build for next season.

Mathematically, Wigan could still go down but I think they are safe, regardless of the result at Villa Park. Aston Villa's home form is very good and they've been scoring a lot of goals so I'm going to go for a Villa win.

He does seem trather fond of us these days. Almost tempted to stop calling him by his anagram name but it's just too funny. Loners ***** Arm.

Happy days indeed Silkie. Villa in europe, the noses back in the minors (Randyspeak), and we'll be in for a very enjoyable summer - despite the loss of GB and no England at Euro 2008.

I dont quite know why Lawro doesn't get a season ticket for Villa Park, he's clearly a closet Villan. Perhaps he doesn't like the idea of having to join a waiting list?
