Martin O'Neill spoke after the Everton 2-2 draw saying the lads showed great character to come back twice.
'I thought we were the better side in the first-half and had Ashley Young's free-kick gone in it might have given us that extra edge. In the second-half they scored a deflected goal which would have deflated us in the past but here we fought back, kept going and deserved something. The fact is we fought back not once but twice. It was a great effort and we thoroughly deserved a point - if not all three.'
He also says no one yet knows how important that result will prove to be adding we just have to concentrate on winnign our game v Wigan.
Meanwhile David Moyes said:
'I thought it was a good game of football. I’m disappointed we didn’t take the three points, especially after the second goal. I thought that when we got the goals we were doing well at the time, that we had good momentum, but we’re disappointed we didn’t hold on to the lead. It was a good point, and a hard point, but it looks like it’s going to go all the way.'
