Reserves Take On Chelsea Tonight - UPDATE

Villa reserves have another chance of taking the Barclays Premier Reserve (South) league title tonight as they travel to Griffin Park to face Chelsea.

Villa need just two points from the next two games. Villa finish the season at home v Arsenal on the 29th April at Villa Park.

Will post up team news later when it becomes available.

Senior players Shaun Malone, Stuart Taylor, Isaiah Osbourne, Wayne Routledge and Moustapha Salifou are all in the team tonight.

Looks like Villa are taking no chances, having played a youthful side last week in our 2-0 loss to Fulham, and want to end the night as champions.

VILLA: Taylor, Herd, Lowry, Osbourne, Clark, Baker, Salifou, Routledge, Williams, Bannan, Maloney. Subs: Delfouneso, Parish, Albrighton, Forrester, Lichaj.

Didn't we beat them 6-0 earlier in the season? Obviously be a closer, tougher encounter this evening, but a title clinching victory is well within our capabilities.

glensider, I've watched nearly all our reserve games this season. Since Di Santo joined in January, he has been a hit. He has scored 7 goals in eight matches. He's skillfull, fast, good dribbler and has an eye for goal. I'm really looking forward to seeing him playing in the first team soon!
