Laursen - 'Get Crouch' + Barry Talk

Martin Laursen has spoken of Villa being linked to Liverpool striker Peter Crouch and says the Villa should get him back!

The Danish defender said:

'This is a club who are going places. We have a lot of good young players here so an England striker like Peter Crouch should be interested in coming to Aston Villa. It's why I signed a new contract this year, because I believe in the future. I can't see myself playing for another English team.'

Vital did a poll 08 Apr 2008 asking:

Should Villa Re-sign Peter Crouch?

Yes, he's an Eng. International (53%)
NO (33%)
Yes, if there are none better about (12%)
Unsure (2%)

Crouch has 4 Premier League, 4 Champions League and 2 FA Cup goals this season but interestingly has only started 8 games, coming off the bench 12 times.

Crouch was class? Bit of an overatatement there surely Waldorf? You must have been watching different games to me. I think that the passing of time is clouding your memory somewhat. Still, its all about opinion.
