Arsenal Match Date Set

The home game against Arsenal, postponed from 24 February, will now be played on Wednesday March 14 with a 7.45pm kick off.

Great, I like night games, better atmosphere!

Nice easy week as we face Liverpool just four days later. 6 points in the bag there then.

If we frustrate both, confident we can get something from both fixtures...Everton frustrated them big time, although I dont like 4-5-1 with only one stiker on the pitch, when defending we will be 4-5-1 but with three stikers, on the break we could definately catch out there aging rear-guard! As for Benitez calling them a small club, what a *****, one of the founding members of the football league a small club? Go back to Spain you dip-*****.

Easy six, eh? You're having a laugh you losers. You couldn't handle Charlton , how you are you going to handle the rampant Gooners? I will enjoy watching Cesc ran rings around your pathetic midfielders. *******s.

Funny how we didnt hear rads, wonderful, intelligent observations when Olof scored the first ever goal at the Emirates and Arsenal were panicing. And they still couldnt beat us with our then poor strikers.

What a wounder. The first ever goal at the stadium, in the official record books as Olof the Beard. Christo keep the faith about midweek. The Arse hate midweek matches, they are still likely to be involved in the Champions League and we will be playing them at just the right time. UTV

Guys, anyone know the answer to this one. How much is it to get into a reserve game down the Villa now?

January (I think) 1981, Villa 2 Liverpool 0 King Dennis netting the winner, I turned to a scouse sitting behind me in the Trinity road stand and said "we've got you this year mate" the rest is history. priceless!!

Slightly off subject, but why isn't there a cashpoint anywhere on VP? I was needing a burger on friday but arrived cashless with 15 minutes before kick off... the security bloke at the Village shop said they removed the cash point at christmas time, complaining that they needed to keep filling it up! Is it just me, or is this backwards logic? Surely the more cash drawn out of the cashpoint means the more cash spent at VP stands and stalls and shops etc? Mr Fear.. do you care to enlighten me on this subject? Oh and yeah i was delighted too when we went 1 -0 up at the emirates. Can't wait til the Arse visit next month.

Sorry lads but noone really cares about who scored the first prem goal at our magnificent new cathedral, a minor stat and nothin more, what will be remembered is the first team that beat us there, which hopefully won't be for a while yet.
