FFC On The Standing Issue At Footie

Dear Football fan

For the last 5 years we've been tracking whether fans feel they should be given the freedom to stand or sit inside football grounds.

The results consistently show that the majority of supporters would like to have the option to stand and as a follow up, we've been asking fans - In an ideal world, which sections of your ground, if any at all, would you like to see as standing areas?

The survey will be closing shortly and the results will be shared with organisations like the Football Supporters Federation (FSF).

It just takes a minute to complete, clubs that have currently retained standing areas are included and there's also an option for fans who don't wish to see a return to standing to register their opinion as well.

Any one remember Hilsborough?! JF We have no chance, although I'd love them to bring back the Terraces! Or that mound of grass that once sat where the North Stand did lol!

You can't beat on about Hillsborough, standing wasn't a major cause according to the Taylor report, it'd be much easier to marshall now anyway.

Agreed that there should be standing areas again, most supporters clearly feel that way, but sadly it aint gonna happen.
