I understand Jermain Defoe will play having missed the win at West Ham last nite. Harry wants him sharp for Newcastle on Saturday!

I think the Pompey website have named their team. No Defoe. Shame. It would have been a good test for our youngsters. I shall look out especially for Erik Lund this evening. Every time I have seen him he has looked a young right back of great potential.

Looking forward to Bannan playing, the lad is a little firecracker. Not sure if he'll make the cut given he looks like a ten year old but a joy to watch

Sorry chaps I was only joking about Defoe. He is still in the Caribbean for his grans funeral. I'm not even sure if he will back for this Saturday. No offence meant.

Defoe would be too busy roasting that Aisleen from Big Brother. We won 2-0, anyone know how Routledge and the Togolese Zidane did? Routledge taken off after 75 mins, is he being rested for the weekend? - would MON dare start player, other than his only 11!

Sounds like another good showing from our lads then. They're doing their part in making this a season of progress.

Ciaran Clark and Nathan Delfouneso scored the goals

Routledge was ok, he beat his man almost everytime he got the ball, put in countless good crosses had a hand in the first goal. Seriously he was good, brilliant turn of pace and good end product. He should be having a part to play for the run in. Delfouneso's goal was sublime, that boy has some serious talent and then there was Barry Bannan, if you haven't seen him play yet get yourself to the next reserve game. He's got mad skills and is always great to watch
