The National team have suffered by the managers continually ignoring his ability, SGE and McClaren would have done very well to have made use of his tallents.

A great season again for Gareth. Not reached the heights in every game, but a class player and an inspirational captain for the club, and now an England regular. All Hail GB!!

Hope these rumours that seem to circulate every now and then, that Gareth might be the target of one of the supposed 'Big Four', particularly Chelsea, prove to be unfounded.
