According to the Daily Express Martin O'Neill is looking to make a 'shock' £3m bid for Crystal Palace's teenage winger Sean Scannell. The paper also claim another Eagles teenager is on the Villa list, this time Victor Moses, who would apparently cost around £10m. I'm sure Palace chairman Simon Jordon would be only too happy to be selling his clubs prize assets? I'm sure he was quoted not long back saying they would not be selling these players? That said, money talks (although as Neil Diamond* once said, it don't sing and dance and it don't walk!)

Apparently Villa have a 'boost' because Scott Carson should be fit to face Manchester United.
