Fabio Capello has announced his latest England squad (for the friendly against France March 26 - groan, I hate friendlies!) and four Villa players have got the nod.
On loan keeper Scott Carson, Ashley Young, Gabby Agbonlahor and Gareth Barry have all been named.
The squad is currently 30 strong but will be cut over the weekend.
It will be reduced on Saturday evening before the squad meet up at the Grove Hotel on Sunday night.
Squad:
James, Carson, Kirkland
Bridge, Cole, Wheater, Ferdinand, Johnson, Terry, Brown, Lescott, Upson, Woodgate
Barry, Lampard, Gerrard, Beckham, Jenas, Hargreaves, Cole, Young, Downing, Wright-Phillips, Bentley
Walcott, Agbonlahor, Owen, Rooney, Crouch, Defoe.

I said that people thought Barry was playing poorly when he wasn't. You then promptly agreed with me having opened in this thread by saying "Gabby aint been playing well, nor barry." This is, in all fairness, a contradiction, and you can surely forgive me for thinking you meant exactly what you said (I should point out this isn't an attack on you, I disagree with everyone who says Gareth Barry has been poor).
Ironically I disagree with your final comment haha. It's just that the issue(s) that you feel most strongly on happen to crop up a lot. I do not disagree about Carson, though at the time I felt some were being unfair to him, and I still feel that way sometimes now. For instance, people blaming him for the second goal. I believe you agree with me on that.
