Double Doubt’s At Villa

Double Doubt’s At Villa

Gabriel Agbonlahor and Craig Gardner are both doubts for Saturday’s match against Portsmouth.

Gardner was (apparently) substituted at half time against Middlesbrough because of a back injury. Gabby has a bruised toe and did not train this morning with the rest of the team.

The official club website avfc.co.uk reports that both players will travel to Portsmouth with the squad and will be assessed ahead of the match.

Cometh the hour, cometh the Hare.

2 worst Villa players vs Middlesborough, should be dropped for that, as it turns out justice prevails anyway!!!

Mellberg and Harewood the obvious replacements, unless MON has something else up his sleeve. Both would give us more of a physical presence, although Gabby particularly will be missed.
