Curtis Davies Deal Will Be Completed

Martin O'Neill has said he has no doubt about turning the loan deal into a permanent move for WBA defender Curtis Davies despite his recent Achilles injury which will see him out of the game for up to 8 months. (More details Click Here )

The Villa boss said:

'Curtis is very philosophical about it. He is going to get on with it. He has got a great attitude towards it which is straight forward. He knows it is going to be laborious but he knows he just has to get on with it.']

Adding, 'His contract with us was never an issue at all, but it is particularly disappointing for him.'

I think, after reading several reports, it is a done deal and not reversible anyway.

Couldn't agree with you more col8. It will be a very good piece of business when Curtis puts pen to paper on a permanent deal.

Probably music to his ears too. It must have raised some questions and doubts in his mind.
