The reserves game tonight v Chelsea has been called off due to a frozen pitch.

The game was due to be played at Brentford's Griffin Park but officials have called it off as temparatures have plummeted.

Pity it couldn't have been switched to The Bridge, but no doubt it happened too late in the day. A blow, because it would have provided the opportunity for some of the fringe players to get some much needed match action in.

Just got back from a wasted journey to West London - I was told that they only postponed it at 6.15 and it certainly wasn't freezing at the time I got there. I guess the Chelsea lot are a little delicate though.

Just not enough reserve team games nowadays in my opinion. The old Central League format used to be the best. If I remember correctly it was a 42 game programme.
