Thanks To Marlon Harewood

A quick thanks to Marlon Harewood.

Thanks for not once moaning whether in or out the team.

Thanks for keeping your head down and waiting for your chance.

Thanks for not taking offence at the fans moaning about your arrival.

Thanks for wearing the shirt with pride.

Thanks for making a difference and playing with passion.

And most of all, thanks for looking like you give a shit.

Marlon Harewood, not the first choice as a new arrival in the summer I admit, but nevertheless, I salute you sir.

arrrr so touching
I think i'm going to cry that touched me, is there not too much news about Fear?
lol, no I'm in search of some good karma. That said, some decent korma would probably do.
The Fear
Well said Fear! He big man has the fire in his belly, always looking pumped up for action. Loved the way he orchestrated the Holte at the weekend... Keep it up big man!
Well done Marlon.
here here
I could do with a balti, but some karma would do, well done Marlon, whenever your in trouble who you gonna call, mighty marlon!
Well said The Fear. Marlon has made a difference when coming on in the last few weeks, deserves a start for me
Marlon is showing why MON bought him. First class attitude, and proving so many (including me) wrong. I join the salute.
go Marlon !
Brilliant player and very hard working! Did so well at West Ham when Pards was there! I do like him a lot.
Pardew is Sexy
Dont anybody go overboard. '48 will be accusing you all of describing him as a legend before too long. Well done Marlon. You've handled yourself with dignity, unlike the voices that spoke out at the time of your signing for the club.
I have to hold my hands up and say I was one of those berrating him as low quality when we signed him. I thought the man was just not what we should be looking for, and then the Tottenham disappointment just compounded that for me. Everyone makes mistakes though, and he's definitely come good as a valuable squad member over the last few outings. Clearly a pretty decent player with talent there, but as a few people have mentioned - he really deserves most credit for his attitude and commitment. Well done Marlon, and well done MON too for seeing the player in there and having faith in his ability to drag it back out. Right, now can I have some cream on my humble pie please?
The Big Man just wants to Score Goals you cannot ask for more than that.
God bless you Marlon Harewood, you are a terrific bunch of lads
Well said. He's a beaut...
Agreed, well deserved praise. I would also give the same praise to Zat Knight - has performed well when needed (except a couple of isolated lapses) and has kept his head down and trained hard when he hasn't been in the team
Top comments, 100% agree. Marlon needs a song! He'll go and chase everything on the pitch if we get him even further pumped up. Any suggestions?
Marlon Harewood.
His song til now seems to have been "Feed the Hare & he will score" A little bit strange that one IMO.
Adam Deuce
"Feed the Hare and he will score" comes from teh Man City song "Feed the Goat and he will score" about Shaun Goater. I like it.
Cant really add more -but THANKS!
Marlon, Marlon Harewood, Marlon Harewood has no hair! like the cascarino song!
Hopefully this new found adulation will last beyond the month. After all, fickle is our middle name.
I want to thank him for his dribble on 87 minutes against the toon where he started slowly then burst past 3 toons and just about scored after a little give and go with Carew. Keep it coming, Marlon.
Great comment. Can I suggest a song. To the theme of The Flintstones. "Marlon, Marlon Harewood, He's the greatest sub in history. From the, bench at Villa, He's gonna ***** over the City" Ok needs some work but its my 1st attempt at writing a song.
oh it blanked my swear, nut its slang for sex, you get the idea
Feed the hare and he will score. Never had a doubt.
Glensider my middle name is _ not fickle looks like i'll have to change it by depole(sp) :)
Yes, i admit i feared his arrival, but what a revelation, long may it continue. Living proof hard work does pay off. Keep it up Marlon
