Villa Abroad For 39th Game? 79% NO!

Villa Abroad For 39th Game? 79% NO!

Vital Villa asked, in a poll suggested by Col8

Would you be happy to see Villa play one of their games abroad from 2009/10?

79% were totally against with 62% voting 'over my dead body' (I hope they meant their own dead bodies and not mine, or do you all know something that I don't?) and the other 17% said 'absolutely not'

Amazingly - and I am totally gob smacked - 18% thought it would be a good idea. A good idea to ruin our great game and turn it into a circus? Oh, ok.

3% were unsure.

Don't forget the petition set up to show our anger at this proposal: SIGN THE PETITION HERE which now has 4750 signatures.

Must say it has been good to see Platini slate the idea and a few Football Associations across the globe pouring scorn on it. Maybe it will make Scudamore and his merry men think twice before trying to ruin our game next time?

Haven't you heard about the "J.P.Fear sacrifice" get-out clause in scudamore's contract, Fear?

I think that this vote will be typical of football supporters, up and down the country, no matter where their loyalties lie. Actually I'm somewhat surprised that it was only 79%.
