Maybe Laursen could do a reverse Dwight Yorke, and move up to play striker as he becomes less able to defend. Worth a shot Martin, John Carew seems to be able to make a fair bit without using his legs at all, so maybe yours aren't as important as everyone made out?

I would love to see Ashley Young get the most assists for the premierleague this season

The guy excites me. When he gets the ball I expect things to happen. He's having a good season, and is an integral and important part of Martins Minors. Sadly missed at The Cottage, obviously.

Read that we supposedly had a disappointing January. O.K., it was hardly great, but disappointing? Probably shows though just how much Villa Park expectations have grown.
